HER EXPERIENCE MATTERS
“The illiterate of the 21st Century are not those who cannot read and write but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn.”
― Alvin Toffler
". . . Nothing is more important to Tracy than educating our kids in great public schools. To that end, nothing could be more important than to elevate her rare combination of talent, dedication, and intelligence to the state Board of Education."
—Democrat State Senator Nathan Johnson
Because Our Kids Matter
To successfully prioritize public education for kids, we need an education system that values moving our kids forward.
Public Education is a launching pad for kids. It is a living, breathing system, and should enable kids to learn and thrive during their school years and beyond.
The past two years have derailed education like never before. We have a responsibility to make education more relevant to our world and for our kids.
The world is always changing, the Texas Public Education System needs to meet this challenge.
We have to take the opportunity NOW to prepare kids for THEIR world.

"As a strong advocate for Education in Texas, Tracy Fisher deserves our vote for the State Board of Education. Educators need someone who will advocate for them and most importantly our kids."
—Ritchie Bowling, Superintendent Maypearl ISD
Because Public Education Matters
To successfully prioritize public education for kids, we need an education system that:
Values Professional Educators
Promotes deep learning over test-taking
Engages Communities
PUBLIC SCHOOLS should prepare our kids for THEIR world.

"Tracy Fisher is the kind of leader that we need on the State Board of Education. A quality education system is essential for our state’s economic growth. . . . Tracy Fisher is an education advocate for all of Texas."
—Republican State Senator John Carona
Because Her Experience Matters
She’s not a politician, she’s a 25-year education advocate for Texas Public school kids.
Tracy knows the Texas public education system and how it should work. With your help, we can get there.
Tracy is a 25-year education advocate for Texas Public School kids and has served on her local school board for the past ten years.
She waited until after her kids had graduated to become a school board member— because the work wasn't about her kids; it was about all kids.
Tracy learned and experienced a lot as a parent and wanted to use her wisdom to help make the public education system better. She’s unapologetically pro-public education and shining the light on the need to prepare our kids for THEIR world. Learn more

Here’s how Tracy plans to PRIORITIZE Texas Public Education
Retain our professional educators and build an excited and qualified pipeline of new ones.
We have work to do to get education right for today's Texas kids, and it begins with supporting our educator professionals.
Rethink Texas public education standards and testing to focus on deep learning.
Knowledge is found everywhere—anyone can learn anything at any time. We must teach kids “how” to learn not “what” to learn.
Restore public confidence AND funding in Texas public schools.
I will keep extremism out of public education AND engage our communities. When we engage our community with our public schools—kids, schools, AND Texas benefit.
When we retain our educational professionals, rethink Texas public education standards and testing, and restore public confidence AND funding in Texas public schools, our kids will be prepared for THEIR world.
